Title: A Banach space induced by a compact family
Abstract: In the talk we will present an example of a Banach space induced (in some particular way) by some compact family of subsets of natural numbers. In particular, we will prove that this space is \(l_1\)-saturated and does not have the Schur property.

Abstract: We present a construction of two separable compacta K and L such that C(L) is a direct sum of C(K) and some Banach space X which is not isomorphic to a space of continuous functions. Joint work with Alberto Salguero Alarcon (Badajoz).
